If you've reached for our stimulant-free pre-workout before, you knew it as Yeet Perfect in a matte black tub. From today it's Athletic Energy, it lives in a clean white tub, and it comes in one flavour: Raspberry Red Frog. Everything inside the tub is exactly what it always was. So why touch any of it?

First, what didn't change

Let's get the most important part out of the way. The formula is identical. Same clinically dosed citrulline malate, same pomegranate and black cherry, same Schisandra, same tributyrin and fulvic minerals doing the gut-supportive heavy lifting. Same stimulant-free promise. If it worked for your training before, it works exactly the same way now. No reformulation, no quiet downgrade, no "new and improved" that secretly means "cheaper to make."

This was a clarity exercise, not a product change. We wanted the outside of the tub to finally tell the truth about what's inside it.

Why the name had to go

Yeet Perfect was fun. It was loud, it had personality, and early on that energy suited where the brand was. But as more runners, HYROX athletes, and serious hybrid trainers found the product, the name started doing the opposite of its job. People assumed a novelty name meant a novelty product. It buried the seriousness of the formulation under a joke.

Athletic Energy says exactly what it is on the shelf and in a search bar. There's no decoding required. When someone is looking for a clean, sustained, stimulant-free way to fuel a session, the name should meet them halfway, not make them work for it. The product was always built on mechanism over marketing. The name now matches that standard.

Black to white: a deliberate signal

The old black tub looked like every other pre-workout on the market: aggressive, dark, stimulant-coded. Black is the colour the category uses to scream "this will light you up." That's precisely the wrong message for a product whose entire point is that it doesn't spike and crash you.

From stimulant-coded black to clean, clinical white

White does the opposite work. It reads clean, clinical, and honest, the visual language of something you trust your body to rather than something you brace yourself for. It sits more naturally alongside the rest of the Phyba range and signals the truth of the formula at a glance: real fuel, zero crash, nothing to hide. For a plant-based, gut-first product, white was always the more honest colour.

One flavour: why Raspberry Red Frog won

Previously we offered both grape and raspberry. Going forward, Athletic Energy comes in a single flavour, Raspberry Red Frog, and that wasn't a cost-cutting decision. It was a quality one.

Splitting production across two flavours meant smaller, more frequent batches of each and more complexity in our Gold Coast blending runs. Consolidating into one flavour lets us run cleaner, fresher batches and hold a tighter quality standard on every tub. Fewer variables, better consistency.

As for which flavour survived, the data made it easy. Raspberry was the clear favourite, repurchased more often and rated higher across our community. Grape, while loved by some, simply didn't carry the same broad appeal. And Raspberry Red Frog has a nostalgic, genuinely enjoyable profile that makes the pre-session ritual something you look forward to, not something you tolerate. When one flavour is both the crowd favourite and the better drink, the decision makes itself.

What this means for you

If you're an existing customer: nothing about your routine needs to change. Dose it the same way, expect the same clean, sustained energy, the same gut-friendly recovery support. The only difference you'll notice is a better-looking tub and a flavour you already love.
