Food intolerance refers mostly to the inability to process or digest certain foods.

 

IBS:


IBS is the most common functional gastrointestinal disorder. Symptoms of IBS include gas, bloating, and abdominal pain, accompanied predominantly by constipation, diarrhea, or both. 

 

IBD:

Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) is a broad term that describes conditions characterized by chronic inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract. The two most common inflammatory bowel diseases are Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
